To support our ambitious growth plans, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Director to drive our expansion in the Japanese market.
Role overview:
As a Senior Sales Director, you will be responsible for prospecting, developing accounts and markets, managing key accounts, and driving sales of ATEME’s innovative products and solutions to both new and existing customers in Japan.
Key responsibilities:
- Market Penetration: identify and engage with new customers, devise robust sales strategies, and cultivate lasting relationships with key accounts to drive business growth.
- Channel Management: establish and lead a high-performing network of indirect channels, including partners and distributors, ensuring sustained quality and efficiency.
- Collaboration: work closely with Solutions Architects and Engineers to develop tailored proposals, conduct product demonstrations, and offer compelling solutions that meet customer needs.
- Market Insight: gather customer insights, analyze market trends, and develop innovative proposals and solutions that align with customer needs and market demands.
- Expertise in sales: strong background in selling video compression solutions and end-to-end delivery architectures for OTT and D2C platforms, with a keen interest in new technologies across various market segments.
- Customer-Centric approach: proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with a high degree of customer focus.
- Opportunity management: skilled in identifying and qualifying opportunities, engaging with technical leadership within customer organizations, and closing deals successfully.
- Analytical ability: competence in understanding customer needs, quantifying opportunities, and providing clear feedback to the team.
- Team Player: collaborative mindset, working seamlessly with the broader ATEME Japanese/APAC team to drive the sales process with relevant information and strategies.
- Resilient and positive: A winning spirit with a positive attitude, capable of navigating challenges throughout the sales cycle and achieving success..
- Language skills: Proficiency in Japanese, plus spoken and written English are essential for this role.
- Previous CRM (e.g./ Salesforce.com) experience preferred.
