We are recruiting a Global Solution Architect, with extended public cloud knowledge.

Role Overview

As a Global Solution Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in our Global Solution Architects (GSA) Team, supporting regional presales teams in designing cloud and hybrid architectures for Ateme solutions (OTT streaming, Dynamic Ad Insertion, Broadcast Headend, Contribution).

Reporting to the VP of Solutions Engineering, you’ll collaborate with Presales, Product Owners, R&D Architects, Solution Marketing teams. You’ll also meet customers directly to introduce Ateme solutions as an expert, help regional team to assess needs and advise on best architectures matching project requirements.

This role might also require dedicated cloud training, certifications (AWS, GCP, etc.), and some level of technological watch to remain aware of cloud innovations. You will also help to develop regional expertise through dedicated trainings.

Main activities

As a Global Solution Architect, you will be responsible for (by order of priority):

#1- Support Regional Presales & Build Expertise
• Mentor regional presales engineers and assist with customer presentations
• Guide RFP responses for cloud-based solutions
• Lead architecture assessment meetings and advise on cloud migration strategies.
• Support critical POCs requiring deep cloud expertise
• Create tools and materials (sizing tools, technical docs, SOW templates, slide decks)
• Train teams on deploying Ateme solutions in public/hybrid cloud environments
• Flag high-risk projects for internal review

#2- Support Solution Marketing
• Help define low level solution cloud-based architectures.
• Contribute to create demos that can be used during trade shows and customer presentations
• Identify integration needs between Ateme products and with 3thd partners or cloud infrastructure
• Represent Ateme technical expertise in cloud partner meetings

#3- Define Solutions Reference Architectures (SRAs)
• Collaborate with GSA peers, Solution Marketing Managers, Product Owners, R&D architect and Systems teams to define Solution Reference Architectures (SRAs)
• Help R&D System teams (RDS) to test and validate such architectures, more specifically in a specific cloud environment (guideline on how to deploy & test the architecture)
• Once validated by RDS, promote SRAs across regions, adapting them when needed to meet specific customer requirements

#4 - Continuous Learning
• Stay up-to-date on public cloud platforms technologies and best practices.
• Obtain and maintain relevant cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, etc.)
• Follow video industry major technology evolutions (e.g. new codecs, manifest manipulation use cases, …)
• Be curious about what technology innovations could bring to Ateme solutions (e.g. analyze benefits of using AI in our solutions)

Essential requirements:

• Strong expertise in Cloud Technologies
o Certified at minimum Associate level in AWS, GCP, or Azure
o Solid understanding of K8S, Terraform, Helm, networking, S3, load balancing...
• Video/Streaming Technology expertise
o Fundamental video technologies (Codecs, Protocols, …)
o Experience with OTT and Broadcast architecture
o DAI and Manifest Manipulation experience is a plus.
• Communication & Collaboration Skill
o Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics clearly and confidently to audiences of all sizes, both internally and externally
o Team player spirit with good ability to communicate across multiple teams within the company and coordinate complex topics
• Hands-on Ability
o Comfortable deploying demos and POCs in cloud environments
o Creativity to solve issues and “make things work” with a prototyping approach
• Technical Writing
o Ability to generate clear and nice slide decks and presentations
o Skilled in creating and reviewing technical docs and RFP responses (text / tables)
• Autonomy & Organization
o Self-driven and well-organized in managing tasks and priorities (senior team, no micro-management to expect)
• Language
o French and English are mandatory
